🌟 Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the #WellbeingSummit organized by @BenefitSystems – an event that will definitely stay in my memory!
🔍 The highlight was Joanna Malinowska-Parzydło’s lecture on “Leadership Intelligence: How do we measure managers’ ability to build a culture resilient to today’s ‘viruses’?” Did you know that these “viruses” can weaken our teams and organizations?
Here are some threats to us as leaders or managers, as discussed by Joanna:
• 🔥 Low resilience (irritation, poor quality, fragility)
• ❓ Uncertainty (lack of courage to take action)
• 🔄 Disorientation (stagnation, lack of direction)
• 🤝 Low social trust (lack of innovation)
• 💤 Mindlessness (errors, lack of professionalism)
• 💭 Low awareness (distraction, weak relationships)
• ✨ Lack of hope (low energy and engagement)
• 🚫 Lack of authorities (poor values in business practice)
✨ After the pandemic, I’m noticing that more and more leaders and managers are taking on these challenges during coaching sessions led by me. What do we work on them? Here are the key areas:
🛡️ Increasing resilience, primarily through better awareness of the lack of influence over external factors/those beyond our control
🤔 Understanding and reflectiveness
💖 Empathy and mindfulness
🌈 Good energy and a positive attitude
🎯 Vision and trust
💪 Self-confidence and emotional regulation
🌱 Authenticity and good values
🚶♂️ Slowing down and finding meaning in action, which leads to overcoming the fear of decision-making
These are not easy topics, but they are crucial for any leader or manager who wants to be aware, empathetic, and intelligent – not only for their team but, above all, for themselves.
I wanted to share my thoughts with you! ✨💬
