Only you decide about your emotions.
Everyday brings sth unknown. Inspite of plans and assumptions or expected events, we don’t have a total impact on reality. However, we have influence on the level of our #emotions when sth suddently happens or suprises us positively or negatively.
Taking into account my observations and daily work with people for nearly 18 years, I see that #expressing emotions and articulating them, as well as being aware of consequences of such type of expression on our mood, are the most difficult for most of people. Obviously, #emotions are the key factor for good #communication, understanding each other and trust building in #relations between people. We often forget about it. #Team communication is a common problem in organisations. #Coaches, #trainers or #consultants are usually asked for help or support in improving the communication at teamwork. Let’s start working on emotions at home by naming them and talking about our #feelings. Then we can automatically behave the same way in the work place.
All I have written above, it is a part of feedback which is very simple in use. It doesn’t matter if this is #feedforward or negative #feedback. The draft below shows how we should practice feedback. You can see a true example coming from life – a talk between a mother and a son.
In the same way, you can fix negative or constructive feedback. Feel welcome to practice it and share your feedback.
Good luck, Dorota
